Extension Van den Bosch house

A striking attic on the roof of town houses in a row. Because moving was not an option and the house was too small, it was decided to expand on the roof. The new roof extension accommodates a spacious master bedroom, a comfortable work corner and a modern bathroom.

In order not to put additional burden on the existing foundation, the choice was made for a light wooden structure. In contrast to the colourful brickwork below, the roof is completely covered with smooth gray slate. The gutters are hidden in the straight lined roof and the panoramic window on the outside corner forms a striking element.
